That is retarded to refuse to use bing! It destroys google maps

Never used it but sounds like I will be. I've only heard good things though, can't see why it would be a problem.

There are times when I prefer Bing and times I totally prefer google. If i have a very broad search I will use google becuase I want to know all the 10000000s of choices. If I have an idea of what I am searching for I use Bing becuase I feel it narrows my selection to what I want. I like both, is that so wrong?

He is right, it also searches a lot better, there are less "trash" results, like you get so often with googles pay for your website to pull these keywords business plan.

Don't waste your money apple not worth it what do you really gain from it

8. crd22 posted on 20 Jan 2010, 18:22

ummmm Apple is going to get more money from MS than Google, otherwise they wouldn't even consider this deal.

I don't really care much for Apple (not so much a hater, but just not interested), but I'd be happy with any takedown of Google. Down with google!

I might be reading into this, but I think this news bodes well for people like me that want to see the iPhone make the jump to VZW. With Bing being the primary search engine on the vast majority of handsets on VZW, I was wondering how that might impact the possibility of the iPhone coming to VZW. But now with news like this, for me it's almost a nail in the coffin. I really think the chances are pretty good...especially if the rumor about the new iTablet being on VZW is true. At this point I've just been thinking this would happen for a while, so I don't want to build myself into thinking it'll happen, just to find out YET AGAIN that those of us on VZW will not have the iPhone as an option...for yet another year!

Why would Bing on iPhone be more likely to be on Verizon than Google on iPhone? I don't think it has anything at all to do with Verizon

I just think it creates one less sticking point in a possible negotiations process.

So I am an avid android fan, and i love google services, but bing is a fantastic search engine. I think it's pretty hilarious that Apple finds Microsoft to not be a threat but is worried about the rookie in the game. Sure google has a following, but they have a following like W.O.W. has a following. It's only certain people that think it's awesome and nobody else understands why they are so crazy about it.
