Google gets ridiculed by College Humor, talking dogs aren't really coming

0. phoneArena posted on 08 Aug 2012, 03:28

And right after Conan O'Brien's parody of the Samsung vs Apple epic court battle comes another humorous video, this time by the folks at College Humor. The short sketch pokes fun at more than a few Google products you must have heard of, such as Google Glass and Google's self-driving cars. Humor aside, the video brings forth an interesting topic: are Google's solutions really making our lives any better?...

So, lets stop trying to advance anything because everything is good enough! Really PA?

I don't know what the real point of this video is, but if it tries to mock Google's failed products then the authors don't really know the challenge of innovation.

What I do know is Google is the most innovative company, the most open company and the most admired company.

According to PA - Everything, anything Apple does is Innovation.
Google Glass and other of the company's futuristic projects – perhaps we are really dealing with nothing more than an overhyped pair of glasses with a camera attached to it,
Than what was SIRI?

is not according to PA is acording to the world.. Apple is the most innovating company recognized world wide

That's what i like about Google. Their projects are open and you can joke about it. When it does work, both Google and its user stands to gain from it. Period!

Dude no one was ridiculed. Please look it up on a dictionary or see how that word is used in the real world. This site's articles oozes too much European Engrish. And the video is from COLLEGE HUMOR. They parody everything, and it's not meant to make a statement. Like every other parody video EVER, it looks at a narrow scope of something and makes fun of it.

Seriously you are trying to make this video into a story? I don't think any of this is even serious. PA needs a new pay model where post count and word count don't matter.

Any great innovation is when a good idea is converted to help / betterment of society. Google is working towards the same goal. Sometimes it tastes success and sometime not. But it tries and comes up with some ahead of it's times product, the one mentioned in this PA article, i am sure after another 4 to 5 years the same products will be launched by a different company with patent holding in their name, and Google might get sued by this company.
