Google+ for iOS gets updated, adds new photo features
The recent update to Google+ for Android has now found its way to the iOS version of the app. The update, to version 4.4.0, includes some of the new photo features such as Auto Enhance. Google says that with this update, pictures will be organized and look their best. A lot of that credit can go to the Auto Enhance feature which automatically adjusts the brightness and saturation of a picture to make them look great. While you do have the option of going with the original image of a picture that you've taken, you should know that Auto Enhance and Auto Awesome (great name!) are on by default.

Google will also now include related hashtag support. This means that your pictures might automatically include some hashtags on them. The update also pushes Hangouts to its own app for messaging and video calls, gives you control over the number of times What's Hot appears on your stream, and allows you more control over profile fields while letting you upload a cover picture. You can even display strikethrough text if the feeling moves you.

Google+ for iOS requires that your device be running iOS 6 or later, and is a free download from the Apple App Store.
