Google cuts Nexus 4 price by $100, now starting at $199 on Google Play

0. phoneArena 27 Aug 2013, 20:41 posted on

The Google Nexus 4 was already one of the best deals available on its unlocked pricing, but a new price drop has brought it to the point where you might pick one up on impulse to be a backup device and no one would say anything. Google has just cut the price of the Nexus 4 by $100, so now you can get an 8GB Nexus 4 unlocked for just $199 on Google Play...

It's amazing how much dumber and more annoying a person can seem when you can't show your disdain for them with a thumbs down.

For someone like me who heavily relies on cloud storage, I don't mind the 8GB of internal storage. It's still a great deal!

As Powerful as this phone is, it'll still be getting updates for at least the next two years.. Think about it.

FYI you can use T-mo LTE on Nexus4
I'm getting LTE in NYC, it also works anywhere T-mo have LTE deployed.

No you can't T-Mobile uses the same LTE band as at&t. If it says LTE it is incorrect.

Yes you can, I use LTE on my Nexus 4(in addition to my htc One). It's almost universally known that the N4 with a hack or right baseband can access AWS LTE which is what T-Mobile uses.

NIB for 200? If I didn't already have this phone I would buy it in an instant. That is a steal. You can't even get a NIB s3 for under 300 and it is older than the nexus 4.

I wouldn't really hold my breath of I were you about another Nexus on Verizon. At least not until their CDMA network is fully decommissioned which won't be for a while.

The Nexus 5 could use the Qualcomm RF360 front end solution which would allow it to work on virtually any network. That includes all (2G/3G/LTE) networks worldwide, including cdma networks.
