Google cuts Nexus 4 price by $100, now starting at $199 on Google Play

0. phoneArena 27 Aug 2013, 20:41 posted on

The Google Nexus 4 was already one of the best deals available on its unlocked pricing, but a new price drop has brought it to the point where you might pick one up on impulse to be a backup device and no one would say anything. Google has just cut the price of the Nexus 4 by $100, so now you can get an 8GB Nexus 4 unlocked for just $199 on Google Play...

Wow, that makes it pretty darn hard to pass up as a main or replacement phone nib.
I want one as a bu myself.

If only it were available worldwide in the Play Store.
I would get it in an instant!

Agreed, in NZ (little country beside Australia) the 16GB Nexus 4 is NZ$699 (about US$550 or AU$600), that's more than double, I could :(

Oops, I was checking the price of flying to Aus and the edit timer timed out.
I could fly to Aus, buy it and back and save about $100-50 haha (not including hotel, so if I slept at the airport or a mates place)

Yeah man me too.... For $200 this is the best thing we can get. I also hope google play worked here because India is one of the fastest growing mobile market.

There is only one problem with this price cut and that's resale value.

With only 8GB of storage? That isn't a deal.

It's a deal only if the "thing" has Apple logo for you to start foaming at mouth (your statement) and start digging ground also. Then even 4GB would be great.
