Also, it seems appleinsider forums are filled with people that think they're covering up for an unbaked ICS... lol. Wouldn't expect anything else from Apple forums. It does seem they're trying really hard to ignore the fact that their 4S was an absolutely disappointment after being late, so they might as well find whatever reason competitors are delaying as being late also.

No. That was an official release by Samsung. Quit being in denial. If you read your source it will tell you a Samsung official said that.

we all know it will sell i guarantee it will break all previous record because apple have a huge fanbase...apple could release the 3g and call it 5 and its still will sell in millions but thats not the point...the point is though many many people were disappointed with the 4s...just go to every site including apple centred site and even they show there disappointment..4s is a good phone but for many like me will be happy with just ios5 on the iphone 4

It's a disappointment because the fact that their own fans are disappointed in their own device.
It's a disappointment because they didn't meet the standards they were suppose to meet.
It's a disappointment because it was late and brought utter sadness to the table.
It's a disappointment because the exterior is the same with no "revolutionary" differences.
When your own supporters are disappointed in your device, it is a disappointment. It's like literally having your own parents tell you, you're a f**king retard and wish you were never born.

You're probably disappointed in the US government, yet chances are you're still living in the US living by their rules, obeying their bulls**t. Being a disappointment doesn't mean people won't stop following you. It just means you're going to get less supporters.
Also, beating an expected sale doesn't mean beating your previous sale. Know stats.

you did..

"It must be beyond you that someone would show respect for a tech giant like Steve Jobs next Tuesday, the day of his funeral no less, whether they be competitors or not, because you probably lack the mental capacity to do so yourself."

key points... "You" referring to me...

hmmm every ones trolls around here.. so why me trolling bother you... dont take me serious.. I dont... there are crazier people posting here but no one takes them serious why you?... ...

unfounded opinions?..hmmm is it the purpose of the forum.. everyones does it.. right?.. let me tell you something.... is not what i say that bothers people .. is how i say it... I am being serious... jokes aside.. so again I ask you.. and i will even say please... just stick to reading..... ( see i did it again)... chill.... dude..

actually good thing you brought up stats... because.. they lose customer just like Android does.. ok so Apple is no alarming on that.. second.. it may be a dissapointed to you. but not to millions of customer... again check stats... the iphone will sell more than the phone you currently have.. again check your stat... and if the sell .. millions.. how can you tell me they lose supporters... dont check stats, on this one..is common sense...

it sounds to me that the fandroids are disspointed.. than Apple. because Apple has done this before with the iphone3G. so they never gave false promises.. never said they were going to do this or do that,.. if you drank the rumor juice... is on you.. not on Apple...

and I am sorry your parents dont like you.. is not their fault... is you...

i love proving you wrong is amazing....

It's a disappointment because the fact that their own fans are disappointed in their own device.
- if this was the case people wouldnt buy it right?..

It's a disappointment because they didn't meet the standards they were suppose to meet.
-care to tell me what standards Apple said that were going to meet?

It's a disappointment because it was late and brought utter sadness to the table.
- is motorola, now Samsung on this for not delivering on time... is normal dude.. calm down, is done buy lots of companies..

It's a disappointment because the exterior is the same with no "revolutionary" differences.
-"define "revolutionary" please... most phones dont do anything revolutionary.. so please tell me your definition?

When your own supporters are disappointed in your device, it is a disappointment. It's like literally having your own parents tell you, you're a f**king retard and wish you were never born.
- you were not supporters in the first place.. so dont think you are right.. and you know why... becuase people that have the iphone 3g, guess what?.. wil buy the iphone 4S... only a few will turn but thats normal and again it happens to every company... about your parents not liking you... well you guys go to counseling i am sure with treatment they will like you...

^ Epitome of the internet idiot right here.

Award for dumbest posts of the year go to (taco, miz, have a seat)... Gallitoking!

Just how old are you anyway?

It must be beyond you that someone would show respect for a tech giant like Steve Jobs next Tuesday, the day of his funeral no less, whether they be competitors or not, because you probably lack the mental capacity to do so yourself.

You have to be THE biggest idiot to come in and argue semantics when CLEARLY the announcement only states the event will be postponed, not the release date and as you said yourself were only giving your (half-witted) opinion on the matter.

If you are indeed American, who happens to speak in broken, poorly formed English sentences, you are part of the reason this countries education has fallen from what it used to be.

Here's a little food for thought for you... See if you can put together the big picture

http://obamapacman.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/Steve-Jobs-Obama-Dinner.jpg

Steve Jobs having dinner with Obama, along with the people postponing this event, as well as other giants in the tech industry. You are hopeless.

excuse me you are ???? where the hell did you come from??... but listen to me.. If Samsung would have any respect to Mr.Jobs.. Samsung wouldnt bite the hand the fed him.. Apple was Samsung number on client... they used the inside information to market similar products... Samsung should have shown respect there where it matters..I am sorry but i dont buy Samsung hypocresy... I think is mostly Google because they dont roll like that... but not Samsung... but lets back to the original questions...

"the announcement only states the event will be postponed, not the release date "

you dont know the release date. so you dont know if it will be postponed... no annoucement... no launch... pops... you think Apple would have taken preorders on the iphone if the announcement wouldnt have happen on the 4th?... for the record.. my english is great.. if you judge a person on how i write on the go... that makes you a bigger idiot than me... thank you for the award... btw...

You must write on the go a lot then. I read most of the comments on here, but hardly ever post. I couldn't resist today though. Your English never seems to improve no matter where you are apparently.

And yes, Google, not Samsung, controls whether this event would be pushed back or not because this is their event more so than Samsung. The event, as always with the Nexus phone, is more about Google, less about the OEM, which also makes more sense why, all competitive differences aside, they would push an event back to pay respect to Steve Jobs by attending his funeral instead of going on with their event which happens to be on the day of his funeral.

Are you that dense? What do iPhone 4S, sales figures, ICS or Samsung have to do with putting your event on hold to take the time out to pay respect to someone that you've previously worked with and had dinner with? Nothing but semantics...

Dear gallito/taco/miz/gemini,

Please stop comparing the sales figures of a single Android phone to an entire generation of the iPhone.

You're trying to compare a grape to a grapefruit. Your logic does not resemble our Earth logic. Just stop.

Sincerely,
Rol

p0rkguy,i dont know why you even bother arguing with this guy. He obviously doesnt have the mental capacity to process anything into his thick headed skull. Its almost like arguing with a rock, but worse.

He says that nothing on the prime excites him, but yet he gets excited over an 8mp camera, a voice control, a pull down notification system, and a 1gb ram, stuff that we've seen for years.
This is isheep syndrome at its worse that Ive seen, some actually have some logic behind what they say, but he just talks outta his ass or whatever his brain can produce. Sigh, its so sad that Apple has brainwashed these guys to the point where they have no sense of realism whatsoever.

Dear Rol

Please stop trying to gain the trust of the fandroids.. just because you just left the Apple army doesnt mean they will accepted you... but if you feel much better. lets compare the nexus to the iphone.. or the EVOs..to the iphones. either way you lose.. well not you.. you still an outsider... but the fandroids.....

Actually I never served in the Apple corps, but I live with an iPhone user and I respect that it does its job very well. If they had redesigned & enlarged the phone, I might consider buying one, but it was not to be. The fandroids choose to ignore my respect for the iPhone because I equally respect Android. I know, it hurts the brain.

All I'm saying is if you want to compare sales figures, compare every Android phone released between July 2010 and September 2011 to the iPhone 4.

Pot, meet Kettle. When did I ever mention that YOU disrespected Apple or Steve Jobs? Reading comprehension not your strong point is it? Guess you lack that 1/3 of a functional brain.

And what useful information did you exactly bring into this conversation besides spouting off your usual hyperbole and unfounded opinions? Nothing at all.

If you'd pull your head out of your rear for a minute and stop being a fanboy and a troll, as always, you'd be able to get off of your high horse and be a little objective to see what's quite obvious to everyone else who put their Android/iOS loyalties aside for a couple days...

let me go kindergarten on you..... the money that Apple gets for every iphone sales.. goes to Apple... Android doesnt get money for every android device sold... is free as far as I know... I can make a phone out of spare parts and put android on it... so maybe it would make more sense HTC vs Apple .. or Apple vs Samsung??... idont know.. but trying to find out ...
