Google adds universal search features for some mobile handsets
Just before the end of last year, Google showed how someone could get useful info from the universal search feature on Google even before the inquiry was finished. Responses for things like stock prices, weather, units of measurement, airline info and others could show up on the Google home page even before the question mark is added to the last word. Now, the Mountain View based company is happy (and we're happy too) to report that this function will also work on your Android powered handsets, iPhone/iPod Touch and webOS devices in the U.S. Not having to wait for the page to load saves time, especially when you are on the run. If you don't see the universal search box with the information, try refreshing the browser.
