Joining MasterCard on Google Wallet will be Visa, Discover and American Express following Tuesday's announcement that the trio have been signed by Google; so far, the only phone that will work with the service is Sprint's Google Nexus S 4G...

Probably the same thing when you get your regular wallet that has all of your ID, cards and money stolen. You report them stolen. I'm sure all of these companies have taken stolen phones into consideration and have a process in place to protect users of Google wallet. I would expect nothing less.

plus if someone tries to use it will have the failed attempt and a GPS location of the device

This is far better than a wallet. For one I don't have to carry both with me (unless I need cash or an ID which I rarely use either), and two, when my wallet is stolen I have no idea what happened to it and what's going to be become of everything in it. When my phone is stolen, I can track it on GPS, instantly cancel/lock it over a phone or internet connection, and can see what has been used (that's if they figured out the pin to use it).
Good stuff. Like Stuntman said, they have it taken into consideration.

i used it at 7-11 this morning i know mcdonalds and wawa are also available there is a app that tells you where around you accepts it

Newer Android devices have it, I believe Galaxy S II devices have NFC technology, but that doesn't matter if the only phone capable of using it is the Nexus S. When this takes off it will be an instant success.

Just got the update and the free 10 dollar loaded I'll be testing it once I get to McDonalds this morning
