Did you have the chance to play around with the new Google Play one-stop shop for Android apps, movies, books and music? Rented "Inglourious Basterds" for $0.25 this week? Well, soon you'l be able to read newspapers and magazines too...

The Fight Club book is also .25 today through the Google Play store. A great read, especially if you liked the movie too.

I just got the update today. I'd say it's on it's way, I don't think they're updating all at once.

That said, don't worry, you're not missing out on anything, just a name and icon change as far as I can see. Same selection and layout

Google still doesn't let you buy movies though, whereas iTunes does, albeit at inflated prices, I think. Epic fail if Google doesn't let us BUY TV shows. Why pay $4 to rent something when you could pay a little more to actually own? Google has a long way to go.

Install a video recorder on your device before renting movies. Then it's gonna be like buying an official-quality copy of the film. Keep it secret and don't distribute though, against the law you know. :p
