This is huge as India is a big market for mobile phones & tablets.
The pricing to start with is not at par with US, that however am hoping will be taken care of for future nexus devices.

Cannot be same. There's import duty of around 40%. You vote for the Congress party in 2014 and they will make sure they strip every Indian naked with taxes and duties.

what are you trying to say?
and what do you mean by "no slim slot"?
really, your comment shows how "foolish" you are and my dear friend, you don't need to reply to me, i don't want to waste my time in reading it...
please keep your knowledge and your thoughts to yourself...
Please go to rehab

hello.. my dear.. the nexus 7 which is currently available on playstore ( for india ) doesn't have 3g support.... got it ? it is a wifi only tab.

then why don't you mention that in your comment?
and you said "wake up google", which means that you are talking to google's employees...you want to contact them (google's employees) from the comments section in PA...really?
i know that the nexus 7 will not sell, especially the wifi version, but they have just started, its better to wait for the 2013 nexus lineup

You are right!
Google is offering WiFi + 3g versions in other countries & tempting Indian buyers with WiFi only version.
People at Google are no novice that they need to workout the demands & needs in India.
Google anyways is going to update its Nexus line up in a couple of months, so what is it? A stock clearance sale?

Good to see Indian Mobile Market getting some attention, both from world class companies like Google and world class sites like PhoneArena and GsmArena. Sure, now India is an important market for the foreign manufacturers.
