Google Play services updated with new features, but drops FroYo support

As we've talked about before, Google Play services is the backbone of the Google Experience, and is really what makes your Android device work the way you expect it to work. Without it, Google services in general, and any apps tied to Google wouldn't work. Along with the update to Android 4.4 KitKat, Google has updated Play services to version 4.0...

Dude calm down if u cant buy a new phone evrytime thats no ones fault....go cry somewhere else. And no one cares if ur still using 2.2. U could still be using 1.6. If ur okay with a old laggy phone then thats ur problem. We prefer 4.4 loll

Out with the old, in with the new. I hope that they do away with Android 2.3 soon too.
