Its hard to believe that theyre JUST starting to differentiate tablet apps. I'm an android fan but because of the apps would choose an ipad any day. These developers need to start supporting android tablets!

I have a samsung galaxy note 10.1 and it all ready provides me thousands of apps and I'm still discovering more... Sure ipads have more apps, but what app exactly that your looking for?

Remember ipads cannot download ringtones, wallpapers, mp3, home launchers, emulators, rooted apps etc. So android still has many advantages.

The customizations are cool and that is the main reason why Android is my choice for phones but the tablet optimized apps offer a much richer user experience from my experience. Its less about matching app for app and more about matching app experience with app experience. My first tablet was an Android tablet and I moved to the iPad and I definitely will not be going back anytime soon.

First the galaxy note 10.1 is Garbage compared to the ipad2, let alone the ipad 3 and 4...
The reason is because the note 10.1 laggs like a motherf**ker..
What apps are you looking for?
The games and apps android users have where released for ios like a year ago.
Ringtones?
What seriously ringtones?
Wallpapers?
Mp3? dude you can download free songs on an ipad, educate yourself...it's simple and easy.
You can even download torents and films for free...
Emulators?
What you play SNES games?
Dude have you seen the gaming library of the iPhone?
Did you know that PPSSPP emulator will be released for jail broken IOS devices and you will be able to play psp games on your ipad?
You know if you jailbreak your ipad then you can even have a file manager...and some form of widgets...
The only real advantage android has over ios are the widgets, and to be hones 98% of them are useless.

We already have all the mentioned above features and more on Android, and without rooting the device.
Go back to sleep.

I'm looking for apps that are designed to for landscape mode. I have an Asus Transformer with keyboard dock, so it is always in landscape mode. You wouldn't believe how crappy some apps are in landscape mode. There are many more that don't even support landscape at all. Banking apps are notorious for not supporting landscape. I contacted the developer about it and they told me to use the mobile web site.

great....and the most important is that we can install even non-tablet apps to our tablets unlike limited iPad...

I have not had any problem installing iPhone apps on my tablet at all but I really do not have to go that route because of the large selection available specifically for my tablet. Those blown up apps suck and the only one I have kept was Papa Johns. The user experience of the tablet apps are far superior to the others and is the only reason I own an iPad. Google probably should start giving incentives to the developers to try to sway them.

most are games and dont really need an tablet ui, cant believe how very little tablet apps there still for android tablets, i have the nexus 7 and most of the times i just end up using my s3 as the nexus 7 doesnt really offer me anything over an app on my phone.

I would like to share Photo album-photobook app. It is unique and based on GPS location data. By the use of WI-fi you can easily download the photos in your application and PC also. You can add clip arts, draw the elements, add tags which are based on location. You can filter or sort the photos automatically. For more information you can visit the site appsicum.com.

Whether you like Apple or not, Google needs to get their crap in order and make more tablet apps.
