Google Play for Education officially launches personal learning for schools

Back in May at Google I/O, Google first announced that it was planning to create an extension of Google Play designed just for schools. In June, Google Play for Education began accepting app submissions from developers. And today, Google Play for Education is finally ready to go and is officially launching with its ambition to revolutionize education...

nice google is the way to go no only its more enhance like the teacher sending all the app to the student and see real time what they are doing on those tablet
good job google definitely getting my niece a nexus 7 for christmas plus the price is good too

Lets not forget that these tablets are district budget friendly. Unlike those overpriced, luxury model personal tablets.

Sounds interesting. I want to see more how the data from the apps gets back to the teacher to show time spent on what app(s), how the student did and where they had issues (maybe by additional time spent on particular items such as 2+2 took 2 seconds while 10+2 took 10 seconds). Also, im worried about the security such as who is capable of viewing the cameras on these devices and can they be remotely turned on. This was an issue a while back with some Mac books where a principle was turning on the cameras of devices when the students were away from school.
