Google Play Store adds 500 movies rentals from Paramount

Google is working hard to close the content gap on Apple and Amazon, announcing today that Paramount will bring 500 titles to the Play Store and YouTube over the coming months...

It would be a better idea to get the service rolled out in Europe where they can reach even more subscribers to rent movies and sell music through the PlayStore ;)

This speaks so well to Google's overall strategy. This revenue stream is as a sure thing as music players. Google has the resources and the tech to make this second nature for them, and quickly. Great draw for Android, even bigger win for all the other services Google is offering. What a great ecosystem they are building.
