Now ordered, 16G, about $395 with shipping and NYC taxes.
Five hour effort, lots of F5 and try again to order, then get the 'due to high....' flag.
Did finally click through at 7.50 pm ET.
Hope that Google learns from the experience, as they have really disrespected their customers with this launch fiasco.

They should have learned the first time. Having announcing to its customers that the phone will be available at noon and having the repeated experience of last time is ridiculous.
