0. phoneArena 12 Dec 2012, 20:46 posted on

A new report has just come out that Google is planning to relaunch Google Maps on iOS tonight. Google Maps was unceremoniously dropped from Apple products as of iOS 6 in favor of Apple Maps. Apple Maps, to put it very lightly, was a flop, and users have been looking to get back to the properly mapped world of Google...

If I were Google I would refuse them help and allow them to be iLost for all eternity.

BTW, thought that iThing was supposed to be perfect; not so "PURFECT" after all.

That would make Google into another Apple, which they are not. They are the bigger man.

it would.....but is apple ready? is the question... has apple truly learned its lesson?

doubt it, but if this goes through the results will show soon enough if they appreciate it or not..

Its more brilliant to release google maps for IOS and make make more money off of IOS users. Thats just pure business and say what you will about Apple but they will eventually fix their maps but by then everyone will be dependent on Google Maps.

Its a win win for google.

Google is smart..Most of their services are already on the iPhone except for Maps. Once that hits, it will be success. Maps will be a welcome addition to the app store and i am sure it will be the same on iPhones once people start downloading.

Apple maps is off to an okay start but its nowhere near as robust as Google Maps. I use maps frequently and nothing comes close to Google Maps. I am greatful that we still have acess to the web version, but it would be awesome to have the full App experience.

#Lets hope Apple approves this.

I actually doubt that Google will put their maps back on iOS before Christmas. I think Google is clever enought to help Android OEMs ncrease sales at this crucial time.
