Those of you who live in New York City and have Android phones are bound to experience joy with the next improvement of Google Maps. Whenever you search for one of NYC's 468 subway stations now, or your directions include it, Google Maps will show you service alerts for the place, such as schedule disruptions or planned maintenance, says Google...

The way the NYC subway system is managed this will make Google Maps explode.
BTW, I thought there were 469 subway stations?

They should do this with the Chicago L. This would be so great, there are always disruptions on the lines. Get at it Google :D

Dude i totally agree. The Red Line and Blue lines need it the most. All the others are pretty cool. But for the Loop. And the Dearborn and State St Subways it is DESPERATELY needed. Getting thru there during rush hour is like pulling teeth. lol
