Google Maps for iPhone receives its first update

For the first time since it became available in the Apple App Store, Google Maps for iPhone has received an update which allows you to search your Google Contacts from within the app which makes it easier to find numbers of your friends if they are stored on Google, even if they are not stored locally on the phone...

I have literally not used Apple Maps once singe Google Maps came out for the iPhone.

Welcomed even though I still use Apple maps more than the Google maps app. The integration in iOS makes it easier.
