Google Maps for BlackBerry gets treated to new layers feature
Windows Mobile users first received the new layers feature for Google Maps, now BlackBerry owners are getting the same treatment. Version 3.2.0 is the newest update for the popular maps application for BlackBerry – enabling you to link your Google account to create different maps and save them for use later on. You can turn on and off layers from the menu screen which in turn provides useful and pertinent information about your location. And of course Google Latitude is integrated to the application so you can keep tabs on the locations of your friends. So if you haven't gotten a chance to update your application, you'd better do it now so you can experience the new layers feature.
