Google Maps 6.0 with indoor navigation overview

Who would have thought in the times of Amundsen that the last unexplored frontier would be... shopping malls and airports. Yet that is precisely the first world problem Google is trying to solve with today's launch of Maps 6.0...

I am going to guess that you are an Apple Fan. Google will lead the way in adding indoor maps. Apple will in the future do the same, change the looks a little, and then claim it was their idea and sell it to everyone in a brand new iPhone. Just my prediction.

Actually yes, but im thinking Airport Indoor navigation could be really good, specially for travelers who are in unfamiliar airports daily.
Or for tourists in one of those big *ss malls who go in there finding something in particular. Not something that you might use everyday, but something that can be very useful in one specific moment.

I forget where stores are in the malls this will help me save time parking closer to them and gettting me in and out with out having to wander the whole mall
