Just as we told you last night to expect today, Google has announced some new music features for Google Glass. "Okay Glass, listen to" allows you to access your tunes from Google Play Music, including the library of songs available under All Access. This voice command will be made available sometime in the next few weeks. Last time I checked, Glass wasn't a phone. This isn't GlassArena.

They post about tablets, apps, and accessories so I think Glass qualifies. We'll see plenty on smart-watches too, so be prepared for more non-phone articles.

Just don´t put the volume on MAX, like any other device you use to listen to music.

I don´t get it, you don´t want to turn the volume down, don´t want to pause the music, but want to hear the surrounding sounds?? Is that even possible?

Dont know if its possible, this makes it seem like it will be hard to enjoy it having to pause, lower the volume, i just wish it automatically lower the volume when a police siren or something, with all this technology you would expect the best.

Use the mono headset if you need to hear other things around you. No more dangerous than a jogger with headphones in. And the voice commands only work while the screen is on, not 24/7. Loving my Glass~!

yes , but i want experience to last, so they need to work around the whole feature, not give alternatives.

Is there a manufacturer behind the earbuds they remind of SOL. Will they make a regular earbud set with rubber tips? I want hifi earbuds for music not what they give you (like apple and their earbuds) Also can we use 3rd party apps for music and voice command. Ie. Poweramp?

Third party apps can be side loaded through ADB but only if their glass compatible...cause they need to be able to be fully controllable through Glass's limited navigation. Like google music, you can sideload the app right now, its perfectly compatible. but only because google included Glass controls in the recent update. But its about to be officially supported.
