Google Earth reappears for DROID owners following Android 2.1 upgrade
The Earth is missing! No, that isn't the synopsis of the next ABC drama scheduled to replace Lost next year. It was the cry amongst Motorola DROID owners after the handset's upgrade to Android 2.1. For some reason, the Google Earth app had vanished following the upgrade. It might have been a simple matter of someone failing to make a minor adjustment somewhere, but we are happy to report that the planet that we all inhabit has now returned. Google Earth is back in the Android Market and we were able to successfully install it on our DROID with no problems. The Earth has been returned and all is well.
