Google Currents pre-installed in Android 4.1

Google Currents, the stylized news reader which has been available from the Google Play Store since December, is going to be pre-installed in Android 4.1 according to an email that Google has been sending its partners on the application...

I don't think this is a good move by Google! Forcing software on people is never a good thing. I remember those days when Google stood up for purity and now they're heading the wrong way!

installed flipboard last week and love it, go back an check out currents, how much better can it be

I've chosen Currents over Flipboard and Pulse. Flipboard has cooler effects, but Currents are way easier to organize and customize. Pulse, just wasn't comfortable, you press one thing but actually it moved and pressed another.
