Just a few hours after the app made its way onto the App Store allowing Apple iPhone users the chance to view some Flash video, the Skyfire browser has been "sold out"...

Just one question, how is something that is not tangible (software application) able to be sold out? Did they send out their original copy of the app and now have to write one from memory? Seems a little fishy.

Their servers are having issues dealing with the influx of new users:
"The user experience was performing well for the first few hours, but as the surge continued, the peak load on our servers and bandwidth caused the video experience to degrade."
Oh well. Hopefully it'll be back soon! I hadn't had a chance to download it.

"you know on the internet... people use flash!"
i bet skyfire was not prepared for flash hungry customers wanting to get that app so bad
i wonder when adobe and apple will go back to good terms

That goes to show how indispensable Adobe's Flash is.

its hardly even real flash, I remember using skyfire on android 2.0, its pretty lackluster. You can only watch flash video, not games or flash animation or anything else. Even at that, iphone users are used to getting jipped by now, I bet itll get put back in the market for a higher price in a few days.

well its the closest thing apple users have to play flash on their phones, i bet a lot are pretty happy about it, and yeah it might sell higher
