Gmail update allows you to take action from your notification screen

Google has updated Gmail and those running Android 4.1 or higher will be able archive, reply, or delete email directly from the notification page while those with Android 4.0 will see some performance improvements and bug fixes; those with Android 2.3, well, uh...yeah, about that, sorry to disappoint you but there is nothing to report...

Downloaded it. You get the option of Archive/Reply or Delete/Reply from notifications. Not all three in notifications. GMail>Settings>General Settings>Swipe Conversation List
