After watching the video I noticed that I don't need it because it is similar to my galaxy note II the left side menu with apps launcher for the split screen. in fact I can move it from left to right or even to the top or bottom screen so no use for galaxy note II user this app as we are already ahead.

Its not. Relaunch is an improvement over it and has been there for Android for quite sometime. Ubuntu's sidebar is similar to dock for your favorite apps as it was intended to be in the PC version. I have my dock in notification drawer, that way I have access to my favorite apps everywhere. And I use relaunch, that way I have access to my app drawer everywhere. I think I would stick to Apex Launcher using Relaunch along with it.
