Global VZ Navigator goes official
As we first reported back in January, Verizon Wireless officially announced the launch of a global version of VZ Navigator. It is available to customers looking to travel in unfamiliar areas overseas so they can get turn-by-turn directions and points of interest. Big Red will be offering this service for $19.99 per month, but initially it will only be available on the BlackBerry Storm. As of this moment, only Canada, Mexico, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom are supported; with future countries to be added later this year. You'll need to contact customer support or visit a store to upgrade to the new version.
