Wow, my first phone was a Qualcomm 'thin phone' with Sprint. I think I got a whopping 200 anytime minutes per month for $40. Times they are a change'n. After replacing it, it was returned to Sprint for recycle/reuse.

My first "working" phone was the LG C1300 for Cingular... I had my first phone before this one, which I can't even recall the name of, which failed out of the box... The LG C1300 worked, done its job, then moved onto a better phone. I'm pretty sure I have it lying around in my house some where, but don't know if it still works, may be though...

My first phone was an old Motorola Startac, when I was a Junior in high school in 2002-2003. It was a hand-me-down from my dad like all my phones for four years until I was given a new iPhone in 2008. The StarTac was disposed of properly by my dad when I retired it when he gave me his Nokia 3330 after I accidentally fell in a river and ruined the StarTac's speaker.
The first phone I've purchased for myself on my own cell phone contract was a Motorola Bravo android phone. This replaced the iPhone 3G I had been using 2008. The Bravo has been retired from full service and is now living its days as a well loved media player.

Giving away my age, but I was (and still am) an early adopter. I had a Motorola bag phone. It hooked up in the car, with the big magnetic antenna on the roof, or I could take it out of the car, as it had a big brick of a battery in the bag. How sweet it was to get those 30 minutes a month for about $60!

I don't know the model number, but my first cell phone was an LG flip phone that I got while stationed in South Korea back in 2004. I didn't know much of anything about cell phones, but I was told it wouldn't work in the states, so I gave it to somebody else before I left. I'm sure it's long gone by now as I was pretty rough on it.

My first cell phone in 1993 was A BAG PHONE WITH FULL HANDSET. I believe it is a Motorola. I still have it. I bought it for my husband right after we got married in 1993 so I could reach him while he was on patrol and not have to go thru dispatch. I moved from Austin, TX to a VERY small town. It worked great since we lived (and still do) out in the country.

My first phone was a Motorola W490- a green one (T-Mobile). I looooved that phone. It was sleek and not as thin a the razr, which for some reason bothered me back then. The camera sucked but I loved it. Good times with that phone lol. I still have it, but I'm on AT&T now so it's just an emergency backup in case a friend needs it. Works perfectly too.
