Occasionally...but when you are from South Dakota there's usually not too much around ;)

2. EODLRD posted on 21 Jun 2012, 08:34

YES!!! I do have a habit of using my cell behind the wheel. I use a bluetooth earpiece occasionally, but usually just speakerphone on my phone.

3. iheartarcee posted on 21 Jun 2012, 08:38

yes but I prefer using Bluetooth to speakerphone as the quality for both users is usually better than trying to use speakerphone.

4. Jimstar posted on 21 Jun 2012, 08:39

Yes but only in speakerphone mode

5. KingKurogiii posted on 21 Jun 2012, 08:39

well i just got my own car and of course i bought a Car Dock to go in it for my Razr and i'll use it for Navigation and playing Music on Spotify (which means i have to keep the dock in portrait orientation since Spotify is the only app i use in the car that doesn't support it. >>) oh and i'll also use it for an app Moto has for remembering where your car is by "tagging" the location of the vehicle when you undock it, it'll even take a picture if you want it to and you can type a memo in the app to help you remember further, really useful app if you live in FL. yeah, i'd love to have a Roadster 2 to go with this. it'd be so helpful. o.o

6. shadowcell posted on 21 Jun 2012, 08:42

Nope nope, I'm a responsible driver. Yep, I don't text and drive too. You betcha. *looks around nervously* Sooooooo, did I win?

Okay, I pick up my cell phone to talk while driving but only when there's little to no traffic on the roads. Most cases I pull over if I know it's going to be a long phone call.

7. zfly9 posted on 21 Jun 2012, 08:42

For some reason I wait to make calls until I get into the car! Too busy to do it elsewhere.. This is bad.

8. del2327 posted on 21 Jun 2012, 08:43

Yes I use i sometimes.

9. elpidiosimon posted on 21 Jun 2012, 08:43

Yes. But always with a headset. Would be nice for a wireless solution.

10. jchyle posted on 21 Jun 2012, 08:45

Yes, but I test phones for a living.

11. savaytse66 posted on 21 Jun 2012, 08:50

I use the phone behind the wheel occasionally, but limit any texting to stoplights and parking lots.

12. veevans01 posted on 21 Jun 2012, 08:57

I do talk on my cell phone while driving. I do use a bluetooth earpiece. However, people say that I am not clear when speaking with it. I definitely need to upgrade and this would be a great prize for me.

13. tombepa posted on 21 Jun 2012, 09:04

All the time. I have never found a Bluetooth that I really liked until I bought one for my father that is hard of hearing. He uses this one through his car speakers and now he can hear everything that is said. I would live to have this for myself and give the other to my mom.

14. svec7186 posted on 21 Jun 2012, 09:19

90% of the time i use a bluetooth ear dongle

15. nandito01 posted on 21 Jun 2012, 09:25

i must feel bad and say i do but mostly for my music :D otherwise ill put my GS2 in car mode hook it up to my car mount and itll be safer that way....i think :D

16. dgray77 posted on 21 Jun 2012, 09:31

No. I try never to use my phone while driving. And the rare times I do, I use a bluetooth headset. This unit would be far better, if I had one.

17. blade19 posted on 21 Jun 2012, 09:34

No, most of the time I don't answer when I am driving. But IF I need to, I use Vlingo app so that I am hands free. However, the Roadster 2 would be a great addition to when using Vlingo with Bluetooth! .. :)

18. mjhind posted on 21 Jun 2012, 09:40

Use the phone all the time when driving on speaker.

19. idget500 posted on 21 Jun 2012, 09:45

I always make calls while driving. It saves me time when I am not driving.

20. legion181 posted on 21 Jun 2012, 09:46

I use the speaker on the phone, they can hear me but I need to close the windows to hear them.

21. LEONAZUL posted on 21 Jun 2012, 09:55

Yes, especially right after work using my earphones. Their's just something about calling home and hearing that sweet little voice say "Hi daddy". It keeps you sane after a long day.

22. psipher posted on 21 Jun 2012, 10:01

no, I'm not that important.

23. brycdavis posted on 21 Jun 2012, 10:11

I do, but I use the program Vlingo which allows me to go hands free.

24. srk_srinivas posted on 21 Jun 2012, 10:13

I dont have a car....

25. palmguy posted on 21 Jun 2012, 10:14

Yes I use my mobile phone when behind the wheel all the time. My problem isn't talking, it's everything else. Like posting this comment for instance.

26. scmc0310 posted on 21 Jun 2012, 10:26

I've been through 3 bluetooth devices in 5 years. I keep wearing them out. Would love a chance to try one of these out and become a Motorola fan!

27. ohdbee posted on 21 Jun 2012, 10:26

I do have a BT headset, but at red lights i do shoot out a text here and there. The Motorola voice text would be great for me.

28. sms_327 posted on 21 Jun 2012, 10:30

On side streets, yes. I try not to when on the interstate, but I have to admit that I have still done so occasionally.

29. ncvzw posted on 21 Jun 2012, 10:32

i do use my phone, but refuse to text, read fb, etc. i only use the phone to talk

30. stevercpa posted on 21 Jun 2012, 10:32

Yes too much. I try and use Vlingo when I can though.

31. imdarchitect posted on 21 Jun 2012, 10:33

I use my phone frequently behind the wheel. Mostly for business. I have a Motorola ear piece, but I am often told I can't be heard on it. I would like to give Moto a chance to redeem themselves.

32. dayday posted on 21 Jun 2012, 10:38 1

Guilty! I try not to as much possible but just like we can't reject a call from the president I most definitely can not reject a call from my Mother or all hell will break lose.. Then again I can't help but to answer a txt or two while waiting on that red light to turn green...

90. hepresearch (unregistered) posted on 24 Jun 2012, 12:51

Yes, when Mother calls we MUST answer! Most of the few times I have actually had to put the phone to my ear have been because Mother was calling... +1

On the other hand, the President can leave me voicemail...

33. hepresearch (unregistered) posted on 21 Jun 2012, 10:45

I have been known to use my mobile for voice calls while on the road... when I had Bluetooth-capable devices, it was always by Bluetooth... when I had a device with no Bluetooth, but with a speakerphone, then I went with the speakers... but, during those times when I have been stuck with a device that supports neither... I have been known to grab the phone and hold it with one hand next to my ear (gasp!). Well, it isn't technically illegal in Pennsylvania... yet. For GPS, yes, but always with a cradle to hold the thing so I could see it properly, and with voice commands and guidance it was really nice. As for texting or email... no, never while on the road! Well, unless I pulled over first...

34. SharanR posted on 21 Jun 2012, 10:46

Nope! Been tempted once or twice though :P

35. abc908 posted on 21 Jun 2012, 10:55

occassionally... via speakerphone or headset

36. Roofer11 posted on 21 Jun 2012, 11:02

Gotta have one of these slick devices! It'll keep my wife's attention on the road and not on me! haha Love all the Moto stuff...my Droid3 is an excellent phone flyin' under the radar.

37. razesh posted on 21 Jun 2012, 11:07

Yes but only in speakerphone mode

38. huypaulha94 posted on 21 Jun 2012, 11:16

Usually I just unlock the phone and put it on speaker when picking up a call or calling someone. I'll also text during the stop light... sometimes when I'm driving too.

39. nghtwng68 posted on 21 Jun 2012, 11:23

Yes, but limited.
When on a call, I religiously switch to my bluetooth headset and it pairs up to my phone right away.
Leaving me to focus on my driving without the restraints of a phone up to my ear or my neck tilted while driving.

40. newuser1 posted on 21 Jun 2012, 11:28

yes, only on speakerphone.

41. chicobob1 posted on 21 Jun 2012, 11:33

I don't make calls while I am driving but I do occasionally answer calls with speaker phone. Even that is a bad habit.

42. ivanoiua posted on 21 Jun 2012, 11:35

Hello, sometimes I speack on the phone while driveing, texting not so much.

43. stjcripes posted on 21 Jun 2012, 11:43

Yes, and I have the Motorola ROADSTER 1, but I found it to be less than impressive. I think part of the problem was my LG Revolution - voice commands were rarely understood. But now I've upgraded to the RAZR. Also, the first gen of this device goes into standby when not connected to a device for so long, and then it's supposed to wake up when it hears a car door shut; however, half the time, it doesn't wake up until I'm already in the car and on my way (usually triggered by a bump in the road), or when I get to my destination and shut the door as I get out of the car. I hope the ROADSTER 2 can redeem the this product line.

44. jrphonea posted on 21 Jun 2012, 11:44

With a 45 minute commute to and from work, it is hard to avoid. I've got a wired headset that I use normally. HATE having to call without it.

45. Watchmanz posted on 21 Jun 2012, 12:09

I used to use my cell phone when driving all the time. We've had some deaths on the road recently due to people doing this, and this made me change my behavior. Now I use a bluetooth headset and/or Google voice commands, or I just wait until I can pull over. No call or text is so important that's it worth me throwing my life away. A Motorola Roadster 2 would be awesome - keeping me safe and still allowing me to hold a conversation. Thanks for the opportunity to be in to win!

46. taco50 (banned) posted on 21 Jun 2012, 12:11

Yes I frequently talk when driving and I'm not that happy with my current Bluetooth.

47. ducati0927 posted on 21 Jun 2012, 12:11

I drive 50+ miles a day and talk on my Evo LTE for more than half of that time. BT is my friend.

Will

48. Techsword posted on 21 Jun 2012, 12:14

Completly, Its how I manage the drawl of an early morning commute.

49. Blackhawk4 posted on 21 Jun 2012, 12:40

Yes, but it's in a car dock and mainly used for navigation/music.

50. superjew posted on 21 Jun 2012, 12:54

Only during longer trips, or if my infant baby needs to hear the sound of his mother's voice. Anything to quiet the young master!

51. Owlet posted on 21 Jun 2012, 12:56

I do talk on the phone while driving. Talking to my dearly beloved makes driving not so boring. And it seems we have lots to talk about when we're apart :-)

52. Commentator posted on 21 Jun 2012, 13:15

Yes...!

53. eshney posted on 21 Jun 2012, 13:25

not without a headset

54. housry23 posted on 21 Jun 2012, 13:45

Not anymore! I saw a video of people getting into accidents from texting while driving and now my phone stays in pocket. I wish I had this so I could talk hands free while driving!

55. MobileCaseReview posted on 21 Jun 2012, 13:52

The better question is, when don't I use my cell phone behind the wheel?

56. crazicow posted on 21 Jun 2012, 13:59

It's illegal to use your phone while driving here in Hawaii so no, I don't!

57. Robbyjonesy posted on 21 Jun 2012, 14:02

All the time and I got some tickets for that, but it's impossible not to use your cellphone while driving since you spend half of your life on California's freeways!!!

58. Exile SS posted on 21 Jun 2012, 14:02

I used to, but my phone's bluetooth no longer works with my car's bluetooth. Leaving me unable to talk while driving without the fear of getting unwanted attention fro police.

59. nazgul posted on 21 Jun 2012, 14:15

Yes, but only occasionally for important calls. This Bluetooth set could solve the problem:)
