Give your iPhone a Hug
Does you've iPhone need a Hug? Case-Mate hopes so as they've started selling their new Hug charging solution. It comes with the Hug Case, that slips on the iPhone 3G/3GS, and the Hug Pad, which uses eCoupled technology. You still have to plug the Pad into a power source, so it's not entirely wireless, but to charge the iPhone all you have to do is place it on the Pad, as long as the Case is installed. It features smart green technology to only charge the iPhone until the battery is full, then shuts off. So how much is this going to set you back? $99.99. Though the company says that other Hug Cases will be made avaliable for future devices, including BlackBerry smartphones in the coming months, so you'll only have to buy the cases once you have the charging Pad.

nice idea but kind of turns the slim iphone into a brick

Or, instead of breaking out this bigger case with a charging pad, you can get a Mofie case that has an extra battery inside and it can recharge in my pocket as I walk.

Don't buy a Mophie case! My wife had one and the signal strength on the iphone goes from 5 bars to 1 or none. Returned it. Apparently, many others have had the same experience...check the forums. Hopefully, this case doesn't have the same problems.

I agree, I too bought the mophie and would completely lose service in areas where I used to get 3-5 bars. Testing to make sure it was the case, once I took it off, my signal would jump...I returned it.
