Sure it might have been the least favorable of the initial three 4G LTE smartphone offerings from Verizon Wireless, but in any event, the LG Revolution is finally packing its Froyo bags and moving right up to Android 2.3 Gingerbread...

This is sickening. Carriers/manufacturers delay important updates for almost a year now. Jesus, the phone has been around since early 2011 and Gingerbread since late last year. These phones should've SHIPPED with Gingerbread.

Even now its funny watching people buying GB phones with promises of ICS "in the future". Good luck with that. I've given up on the Android ghetto because of BS like this

I got mine a few days ago too. But while I don't notice many differences in use or look, i do notice that everytime i use the back key on the internet it just kicks me out. And it lags more, where before it worked fine :\
I guess I'll be needing a reset and then download the update...
But beyond that the only visible differences I noticed are mostly cosmetic, as in, things that didn't really need to made different but have been changed anyways

c. hack...then I guess that's why RIM, IOS and WP7 are still around. take your pick...why even read an article if it doesn't even pertain to your needs/wants...Clearly at the top GB update on Revolution...did not say ios with siri, RIM's Blackberry world- wide outage or WP7 and Nokia's futuristic phones.
