Ext4 replaces the single-threaded file system in Android 2.3 to make it play nice with multicore devices. Ext4 is used in Google's own servers, and also is better at handling data loss due to late writes to the permanent memory...

yeah, the lagfix for the galaxy s phones brings ext4, which removes the I/O bottleneck and the quadrant scores fly...

yup, Voodoo in the galaxyS is ext4 already :). Lagfix is ext2. Running Nero3+voodoo myself. great battery life and smooth as butter.

I agree, so easy to flash a new rom and with a 32GB SD card I have plenty of room for data....and there is an option with CWM to use ext4 for a lagfix......very good scores and runs smooth....
