Get a FREE Samsung Omnia through Verizon Wireless for the next 24 hours
As we told you yesterday, Verizon Wireless has started a reoccurring 24-hour sale (on-line only) for devices and accessories. Each day at 12PM Noon a different product will be listed at a discount price, which will be good through 12 Noon on the following day. Friday's special was the LG enV Touch for $79.99, and Saturday was the Gateway Netbook for $119.99. Today's special is a FREE Samsung Omnia smartphone with a 2-year agreement, which Monday at 12 Noon will return to its normal price of $29.99. This isn't as much of a discount that we saw Friday with the enV Touch ($179 discounted to $79), but we can assume they want to clear out existing Omnia stock before the Omnia II i920 is released in a few weeks, and you can't beat free!

The omnia is a very good phone. People who think otherwise have no rational basis for their claims.
