This phone looks like it will be able to do everything my Voyager does but much better. Hopefully using the GPS navigation won't be pricey.

In reply to the previous comment: The LG Voyager is a CDMA phone, distributed by Verizon. This Garmin phone seems to be GSM/WCDMA, and so will work with AT&T and T-Mobile (if it has any US bands at all), not Verizon. Unless, of course, they release a CDMA version as well - which would only be feasible if it were picked up by a carrier (Verizon and/or Sprint, most notably).

obviously it is quad band and will work in europe AND the US / canada.... thats why it is loaded with maps of europe and north america. there would be no reason to have maps of areas that the phone would not work in
