It looks as though they'll be cranking out a few devices beforehand to see whether or not they'll have the capacity to compete...

the best way and only way it seems to make money givin the subsidised phones thes days is to make sure to put the best hardware and screen into a more atrsctive unit and get it out first. Sounds simple but only motorola samsung htc and i guess motorola are doing it. Well and apple. The other thing is really keep it on the downlow untill it hits htc then creat buzz

If Asus-Garmin is not making better softwares integration, it will eventually lose in the competition by far. The new hTC Sense with its GPS is totally kicking GPS maker, Garmin's butt badly.

As much as Garmin is known for their GPS systems, you can still get Google Maps. Even though Google Maps isn't 100% accurate at times, it still works so if they come out with a phone with a major selling point as the GPS, it won't be a super huge hit IMO. But keep it up Garmin, the more competitors the better!
