Galaxy S III build quality woes continue, users report cracked framing

The Galaxy S III certainly isn't Samsung's strongest phone yet, as we've first heard about the manufacturer getting rid of faulty blue back covers, followed by a number of users discovering small cracks around the camera area of the white variant...

Lol hey michael heller where you at? I thought the materials in this phone were amazing!!…

Anyways, this phone was looking good and then it had some real world use and it pretty much can't take the daily abuse. Oh well the next iPhone is going to blow this thing out of the water

Those "cracks" look odd in that they look too straight (i.e., very clean cuts) and looked like two parts that have started to separate. I've never seen before a "crack" that looked like this. As far as I'm concerned, these are not cracks or a fractures, but something else.

This is a stupid post. Does anyone here own a Galaxy S3? The seams on the frame are normal, not cracks. Every Galaxy S3 should have that. There not on the frame, there on the bezel. The people at Tweakers and AndroidAuthority are Idiots!!

I haven't had a single issue with this phone. No cracks that I can see. Runs WAY better than my Rezound or Thunderbolt did. (This isn't surprising to me, as both of those HTC phones were significantly under-spec'd compared to the S3). Build quality isn't spectacular on this phone but performance has been stellar.

I was halfway done reading this article when I immediately grabbed my s3 and looked. Was shocked to see these kind of cracks present on ALL FOUR COURNERS of my phone!!! Darn it!

I have the same crack on my handset and that too on a brand new one... but Samsung is not ready to do anything regarding it. The worst part is they say the websites who have put on article regarding this is not relevent and they believe in such misleading information..... what should we do... thay are not ready to replace defected handset and says all this information provided is bogus...... this is very disappointing....
