I think regardless of the design and materials used, people would buy samsung because of its availability and features like removable battery and sd card expansion.

I think it is the other way around. You are obviously a blind hater. Let's put it this way. Samsung has been manufacturing phones and products longer than we were born. They have made tanks for the military, aluminum laptops and tablets like the tab 7.7, and just about everything under the sun. I think they would know more about design and materials than a butt hurt HTC fan.

Case in point, all of the high end Samsung products have magnesium frames and the clearance they have between components are ridiculous. That is how they fit such large batteries into thin and light form factors.

Newsflash, electronics design and physical design go hand in hand. If you know one well, you have to at least know the fundamentals of the other or your product would suck and wouldn't be able to protect those internals that you are so good at.

SamFans are happy with Samsung, and wish all other brands to drop de@d.
Take a look at all the other posts about new devices, and you'll get a good taste.
SamFans are even more dedicated blinds than Apple ones.

All my friends who have a Samsung device (most of them GS3) will buy GSIV regardless the specs.
This means blinded. And most of Samsung fans remind me those of the old iPhone fans, who were prepaying for a phone that they did not even know its looks.
Believe it or not, that is how it is, no matter how many SamFans thumb down.

haha Sigh. You sound almost as clueless as HTC, Sony, and LG. People buy Samsung products because they are great products and a more trusted product. If HTC, Sony, LG, Apple actually make a better product, people will buy it.

It is as simple as that. It's not like those companies have zero sales. Plenty of non Samsung devices floating around. I am positive that some of those people have owned a Samsung product before but ended up buying an LG or something, myself included.

First of all, starting a sentence with "haha" means something like mental instability.
If you see ppl saying:
"I'll buy GSIV because it is SO KEWL! Its super! WoW"
now THATS zombification.
Again, I have to explain that not all Samsung fans are the same!!! GodD@mn, use your brains, I never said that 100% of them are zombies, but 80% surely is.
And regarding the "trusted" Samsung products, if you have any friend working in Samsung service, ask him how many hardware bugs were found in GS3... Let me give you a clue. Lots.

There is already a solution for samsung galaxy s3, some companies made it with unbreakable diamonds, well which is costly also....if you can afford.
