0. phoneArena 17 Aug 2013, 08:12 posted on

The animosity between Microsoft and Google is growing to the point that these two tech titans could replace Apple and Samsung when it comes to the mobile industry's hottest rivalry; just last week, Google blocked Windows Phone 8 users from access to YouTube after the crew in Redmond offered a YouTube app to Windows Phone users that apparently continued to violate Google's ToS. Microsoft responded and the battle was on...

Google and Microsoft hate each other. Microsoft scroogles Google, but Microsoft is scroogled. Microsoft is the one who started the stupid Scroogle campaign, and Nokia have to deal with the poor WP users.

This scroogle thing never ends...

And the first result in your link shows why google isn't wrong in including it.

"But these quibblers are wrong. The un-literal definition of "literally" is not new. It has been used for at least 200 years, and we have the proof. Literally. "

The Oxford English Dictionary has also listed this secondary definition of the controversial term since 1903.

It is better, bing isn't great. I've long been a talker against windows mobile handsets and that's because they have been poor sellers and unpopular, the 520 however from Nokia has been a a good seller and the 625 should be the same. I've always been android first, although my current handset is a 925 for work and I like it. Yes android is certainly better, windows lacks apps and just a certain ease of use but after 4 years with android I'm liking the change. The 925 camera is awesome however and I use my Samsung android tab for games. Bing however should not replace Google search

Sorry, but your trashy lil' Chrome-book doesn't hold a candle to my water cooled intel i7 LGA2011 desktop. Don't even mention your Android phone...

I think Google corporation is getting out of hand, and it's time to clip this bird's wings. The US justice department might be a good tool to ensure that Google plays fairly. It's also time they dropped that hypocritical "don't be evil" corporate motto. Let's not kid ourselves: GOOG is as evil as any other major company operating in the tech industry.

You are using a liquid-cooled i7 desktop. Damn!

Then you're a fool. You're not losing anything by using Bing (actually gaining, thanks to Bing Rewards), and if google is THAT important, pin google.com to your Start page!

What a whiner.

Bing results aren't good as Google.

and there is nothing useful in GDR2 and 3 so, no problem for me.
