I have never had an issue with my VZW GNex freezing...all the while my wife has taken her criphone back to the Apple store twice since last December for issues...Apple makes an outdated, inferior product when compared to Android flagships...

I agree. It's odd, because it seems Apple was under great pressure with screen size.

They chose 16:9 ratio instead of 3:2 because adding 176 pixels on one dimension is optimal for keeping the same width and pixel denisty as well, and it corresponds to exactly one more row of icons. So, this is the most elegant solution they could implement. Every other solution is far too compromising for their strict systems. It would be most elegant that they did not change screen size at all, but its' obviously a pressure from market.
Now, this minor shange in size and format will appear truly revolutional for Apple - it will be the first time since iPhone has released, and this will be enough for it to become the fastest selling product of all time.

I didn't mean that Apple sees it revolutionary (although they might show this attitude at the presentation) nor that it would actually be revolutionary. I meant that it would be revolutionary in Apple iPhone's appearance since it will be the first time since iPhone's introduction.

Maybe it's not meant to mean that, but it's not coincidence that iPhone's deign is labelled "iconic". Icons were images of middle ages that have always looked the same, and they were sacred. They haven't been seen as images, but as a divine presence in sacral speace. Changing the appearance of an icon was blasphemy, so it's kinda indicative for the symbolic position of iPhone in our society today.

I don't think the age makes any difference. No one is perfect. Some of my posts might be good some not. I enjoy writing comments in here that is why I am doing it. I react immediately without thinking too much. Many times just for fun, which was the case of the previous comment. It was just different kind of humor. I agree that it might not be very good one but I dont think it was very bad either.
