Fujitsu Toshiba IS12T hands-on

0. phoneArena 08 Nov 2011, 00:54 posted on

Right off the bat, we’re reminded of the Nokia N9 and Lumia 800’s design when peering over the brightly colored design of the Fujitsu Toshiba IS12T. Indeed, it’s very plasticy by nature, but it’s a tough feeling one to tell you truth...

That's a stupid comment. No relationship whatsoever with the Nokia Lumia, having held one of this in my hands here in Tokyo. Got short shrift in the video and not mentioned in the article is so far this is the only new WP7 with 32Gb of storage.

I would love to see a camera comparison with the Nokia N8 if PhoneArena gets to review this device.

13.2? Now that's epic. Instead of going. For. Slimmer and. Slimmer phones they should pack something like that in the current high end smartphones.

Personally, I think the best usable size for a phone is around 4".
I played around with the Samsung Note and it's way too big for a phone! Maybe there's another niche for mini tablet or maybe one can use it a secondary device, but as a phone it's uncomfortable big!

On a side note, what happened to xenon flash on phones with LED for video? Why put in a 13.2MP camera with crappy LED flash?

I wish manufacturers would make one truly great phone each! All of the current high end models leave out atleast one key feature.Take your pick either dual core processor, NFC,LTE,12MP camera, Bluetooth 4.0, 4" screen etc.but one of them is always missing..

The TG01 had a 4.1" screen with a 1GHz processor. That was a ground breaking design by Toshiba with a large screen and thin frame. I am surprised Toshiba didn't sue android OEMs for copying that design. Just about every Samsung or HTC high end device can trace its lineage back to the TG01.
