Fring is now available at Android Market
At last! The long wait is over and Android fans can finally take advantage of fring – one of the most popular applications for VoIP calls and chats on various networks (Skype, ICQ, Yahoo!, AIM, Twitter etc.). On the overall, version 1.0.1.0 offers rather basic functionality as compared to the editions developed for the iPhone and Symbian devices – the pictures of your contacts are not visible and you can´t even change your online status, let alone transfer files. Still, this is the first version of the application for the operating system, so we hope it gets updated with more functions soon. You can download a completely free copy of the program from Android Market and the manual can be found here.

Take a look at the funny video below, it´s not richly informative really, but the presenter is hilarious.

Fring is just the basic software with no pictures introduced on Android. I think I would more prefer Windows Mobile 6.5 where I can get Yahoo Messenger installed and chat with all my friends with the picture of my friends. I can also install the latest version of Yahoo Messenger.
