Free ASUS Transformer Prime GPS dongles available now

As we previously reported, ASUS has been testing an external GPS dongle as a solution to the signal issues that have plagued the Transformer Prime since its release. Yesterday several photos of the purported accessory emerged, so we figured ASUS was getting pretty close to officially letting the cat out of the bag.
Today ASUS has launched its GPS dongle website where you can sign up to get your free external GPS extension kit. Transformer Prime owners have until July 31, 2012 to submit their requests. You just need to simply login or signup for an ASUS VIP membership, register your Transformer Prime, and select “GPS Extension Kit Apply & Inquire” and ASUS will send you a GPS dongle that matches the color of your tablet.
Check out the source link to head on over to ASUS’ page where you can begin the process.

I love the word "dongle". Makes me grin for some reason.

Just done it. I hope the serial number would indicate the color of the pad as well. Sucks having a champagne dongle on a purple prime.
