"Despite Apple being criticized recently for its lack of innovation, Apple also was on top of the list of companies admired for their innovation."
Someone please tell me what kind of sense this quote makes? As any company, their purpose is to turn a profit, and Apple definitely does that, and that would be the reason for the admiration in that regard. I get that. That said, wtf have they innovated lately? For example, Apple is a very capable company. Given that, why in the hell can't they make a phone that can do voice and data at the same time on Verizon or Sprint? Motorola, LG, HTC, Samsung, Pantech, Nokia, Casio, and more can make phones that can do both on Verizon and Sprint, but somehow Apple, who makes 1 phone a year, couldn't get this done? Innovation indeed.....smh

They combined voice and data onto one chip, that doesn't affect a gsm network such as AT&T. It does however affect CDMA networks such as Verizon, and sprint. Apple makes one phone remember...yet it does voice, and data on AT&T. So the limitation is in the network infrastructure since the exact same device spans both networks.

Hold on there to a sec jedii, you have to hold Apple responsible for this one. Like ADS said, other manufacturers have been able to do it, why not Apple? The thing is Apple chose not to. They could have used a chipset that would allow for simultaneous voice and data, but they chose not to. Every OEM has know about this limitation for many years now, so why wouldn't Apple include this very common LTE capability in their latest and greatest devices on these two carriers?

Thank you Whateverman. That was all I was saying. The iPhone 5 is their flagship, and the only new phone they put out in a year. Why not give people on all carriers the ability to use voice and data at the same time. With the capabilities Apple has, they have no legit excuse for not getting this done, imo.

Apple is only admired in the U.S. and only because its a U.S company it was picked as the most admired. If Apple was a foreign company, Google would be #1. In the U.S Apple will never fall below #1

So why didn't they do a survey of average joe instead of snobby directors and uppetty executives? Majority of buyers are average people! (Blue collar or no collar)
White collar people will always try to associate them selves with anything considered to be classy or upscale to fit their image regardless if there is something better for the buck that is not upscale.
Just look at the specs and features on the luxury phones costing thousands...they suck but yet white collar clowns buy them cause it is upscale.
I admire how Apple can make so much money despite what I think of their product. I'm not into proprietary products when I have a choice to customize. I also don't like that most IOS apps are not free. Quality of the app may be better, but it should be if I'm expected to pay for it. Paying extra is NOT my idea of exclusive! Customizing is how I make my phone exclusive. Just my opinion, fell free to hate if my opinion bothers you.

Its gonna be hard for them to make it 7 in a row because samsung will beat them in their own game in their own style.

Then why is it 6 in a row, and Sammy's about to release the gs4?
