I heard the best way to advertise against distracted driving is by putting up equally distracting advertising

you might as well be saying traffic lights and highway signs are distracting.

They are but they distract for a specific purpose to promote cohesion between drivers actions. Huge tv displays along the side of the road promoting 5 dollar footlongs serve no such purpose, the same with these Death by Cell phone billboards.

those signs and lights are distracting, but not as much as those pesky white and and yellow lane markers.

All those signs should not be distracting if your looking at what your supposed to looking at while driving. What is really discracting is the 40 Flashing LED lights attached to Any Law Enforcement Vehicle that is flashing away in your face as you pass by on the road especally when there is 2 or more Police Cars each with tons of lights flashing away, or Construstion going on on the HWY as your going home at night!!!

I'm just trying to figure out why the safety council thinks Floridians(?) are going to care about old Linda from Oklahoma and little Joey from Michigan.

Maybe because they know that 97% of their citizens are statistically going to die w/i 5 years. They need to talk about someone hopeful to live longer like Linda or lil Joey (Linda is young @ 61 by FL standards) MotoDWNR=(

If only motorola made cars, none of this would happen. MotoDRVR
