First unstaged iSight photo samples from the new iPad appear, iPad 2 camera weeps

We finally have some photos from the new iPad that don't originate from Apple's marketing department, taken by the guys that unpacked a new iPad yesterday. The EXIF data shows Apple iPad and 2592x1536 resolution, which equates to 5MP, so we have every reason to believe these are originals...

Just when I thought Apple only gives names to every thing that is unique to their products (Retina = High dpi), they give a regular 5MP camera a name too, iSight? wtf?

Am I alone here when I say that tablets do not need a camera, outside of a front facing camera of course. Who in there right mind will be carring around this huge ass tablet to be used a point and click camera? Yes, I have seen people do this in public places and yes they looked like complete tools.
