I was at the paul mccartney concert last night and my uncle and his iphone 4 couldnt get any signal and when he held it up he got 1x but no 3g. So he asked me to use my droid x and instantly i pulled up the set list then sent a picture message of it to my mom. Then called her holding it with my right hand and switched to my left hand and took a nice sip of my beer with ever so sweet defeat of the iphone war while listening to great jams in nashville tennessee. I love my droid x and paul mccartney. :)

Plus 3 for Droid X, Sir Paul McCartney, and OWNING an iPhone 4.

@dsg_cobra: I am sorry, and I don't mean to correct you, but some clarification might be nice. You said the iPhone got 1x... you mean bar, or are you talking CDMA terms? If you are really referring to"1x", then you have no idea what the hell you are talking about, or you are bold-face-lying. I don't mean to come off as a dick, but a little clarification would make a lot more sense. Thanks!

DSG's statement seems kind of made up - the iphone 4 not getting a siganl could mean no towers for AT&T in that area and not just because it is an iphone 4 - I swear the anti-iphone posters out there are just as bad as people who love their iphone (not all, of course). People call them iSHEEP, or iLEMMINGS, but some of you anti-iphoners are just as bad in a different way.

well i am a verizon customer so yes im going by cdma terms, but his phone was saying seaching for service the majority of the night, and finally he told me he got some signal but still couldnt get on the web so clarify however you want but at&t is still shit no matter how the correct terminology of their signal is. @networkdood 1st. ive read your defensive statements against apple when they tried to deny issue and not giving away free bumpers and how its only 30 bucks and most people buy them anyway, get the fuck out of here you i sheep dick taking fag. 2nd we were in the middle of downtown nashville the capital of TN, he tried to blame it on the number of people trying to get signal. but we were in a arena for a concert but my phone had 3 bars + all night. he ended up getting some signal later when he held his phone up. but not made up all true and sorry your lord and savier steve jobs didnt save the day once again.

I bet iPhone 4 outsells Droid X by a 3 to 1 margin in Q3.

8. ilia1986 posted on 27 Jul 2010, 13:35

Okay. I am only going to say this once. If you are an app freak - like myself - iPhone 4 is still the best there is. If not - Android is better at everything else. I think this should make everyone happy. =)

9. networkdood posted on 27 Jul 2010, 13:39

I am an app freak, but did not want the iphone - I have 150 apps on my captivate.....and counting

11. ilia1986 posted on 27 Jul 2010, 13:50

Thats nice. But I am also an app freak. And I heard that many of the Android apps are useless. I am not saying that there are no useless apps on the iPhone - there probably are. But I have also downloaded more than 150 apps to iTunes - and from their descriptions and screenshots - all are at least marginally useful. Many of them are games btw.

Oh so diplomatic...

16. dsg_cobra posted on 27 Jul 2010, 20:16

im sure iphone will outsale droid x by this margin but you have to consider how many countries the iphone is in? now compare iphone 4 to droid x in the U.S sales only and TOTALLY different margin there buddy. :)

I don't know about anybody else, But I would be mad if I had to use a case just for my phone to make a call. I mean, I never used the phone, but if the problem is really as bad as everyone is saying, why keep it? I would return the phone in a heartbeat. I was planning on getting an Iphone, but until this problem is REALLY fixed, I'll just stick with my blackberry.

19. omgoshphones305 posted on 28 Jul 2010, 12:49

don't worry iphone users...soon you will get your jacket...and THEN you can use your phone. doesn't matter if you are wasting a whole month's worth of services and your money, it's the iphone, and steve jobs makes everything better cough
