Does Microsoft really want to leave PC market? Win8 is worst OS Microsoft has ever made, and with such crappy add, they definitely show that they want to lave PC market...

so what you're saying is Win8 is worse than Win Vista??? I would have to disagree. I bought a Win Vista desktop used it for 2 months a left it collecting dust. When the release preview came out for Win8 I downloaded it asap and have been using my desktop since.

It's better than vista...but worst than any other windows version......
And i think you are using win 8 with win 7 aero UI included.....

Basiclly it's Win7 with a diferent (start) launcher an touch optimized.
As for leaving the PC market. PC stands for Personal Computer and I think we got to the point where we can call the little droids in our pocket PC's ;)

Do you have any idea of how many people - brilliant people - it has taken to create such OS? of course not. That's why you call it the "worst OS that Microsoft has ever made." You probably know very little about operating systems and the nature of evolution as well.
"hur hur I wanna keep ma xp desktop cuz I don understand thiz W8 shisz"

i have used it on my desktop. Apart from the tech jargon, it makes u feel live and connected, and its far better than IOS or Android, which need widgets to achieve this, and just partly.
Second, the apps are increasing, and lets not forget, Nokia still makes the longest lasting phones. Flaws in IP 5 and GS 3 make me think, why spend so much when it gets cracked and marked easily

Well, I'm a student; I might as well try it out. But I'll be sure to keep my Win7 backup, because I have very low expectations.
Being a touch-based OS (seemingly), I think I'll have trouble using it on my laptop.

rest assured. i am using it without touch too. a good mouse is all u need. While installing they ask u whether to keep apps and docs or not. i makes a backup of win 7 too
