First Samsung GALAXY Note commercial surfaces: makes you rethink the stylus

The Samsung GALAXY Note shocked us with its 5.3-inch display and built-in capacitive stylus, but come to think about it, there's a lot of meaningful use for such rich screen estate. First to the mind, comes image manipulation. While you can view images on every smartphone, most if not all of them only allow you to easily consume media, but not create something. That's not the case with the Galaxy Note – just look at the way you can combine, enhance and retouch photo with the stylus (dubbed S Pen) on the huge screen of this half phone-half tablet. Impressive!

That creative layer is certainly improved by the amazing 800x1280 pixel resolution on the 5.3” Super AMOLED screen and speedy performance of the 1.4GHz dual-core chip inside. The rest of the specs of the Galaxy Note put it firmly in the top tier: an 8-megapixel camera capable of recording 1080p videos, a front-facing 2-megapixel snapper and a huge battery.
