First Google Glass, now Google Sneaks?

With a promise that it is not getting into the shoe business, Google showed off a special pair of talking sneakers at SXSW, outfitted with a microcontroller on the tongue; speaking of tongue, the shoes will give you praise for certain actions and has the backing of Adidas for the project which apparently will not be the follow to Google Glass...

Have fun with it in the rain! But seriously, this is like google glasses and i'm not sure there is strong enough market for all this...well, cyber-junk. Seems like we are in the day in age when A LOT of good tech is coming out, but also a lot of bad tech. Though this could have potential, it just seems like a bad idea.

i think google glasses is enough also imagine your smartphone connected via bluetooth to both these things the battery would drain faster then usaine bolt also idk why but the 1st thing that popped in my mind when i read this was getting tracked i think i watched too many spy movies :/
