Firmware update for Vodafone's HTC 7 Trophy addresses minor performance issues
We can all smell the fresh scent around us as Windows Phone 7 owners all around the world wait patiently for Mango’s arrival, thus, signaling a whole new chapter for the budding platform.

In the meantime though, Vodafone HTC 7 Trophy owners are getting a minor firmware update right now that corrects some of the problematic issues that some people are experiencing. As much as they’d love to see Mango arrive earlier than expected, this firmware update simply addresses issues regarding battery life, touch responsiveness, and calling quality – and that’s all folks!  Affected handset owns will naturally be pleased by it, but we’re sure that they’re still dreaming of the day when Mango arrives.

Fortunately, the wait shouldn’t be too long seeing that summer is winding down, and more importantly, we’re expecting to see that fruitful major update arriving some time in Q3 2011.

Hello I own a HTC HD7 & downloaded a big update from HTC through zune yesterday. I live in Australia & was just wondering what that update was as I don't see anything different.

Unfortunately, it was only a security update. I too was hoping that it was the Mango update.....
